Why support our Foundation? High blood pressure affects more than 30% of the adult population in Switzerland and 60 to 70% of people over the age of 60. It is therefore a common problem that increases the risk of developing cardiac, cerebral, renal, and vascular complications. Today, less than 50% of Swiss people with high blood pressure are receiving proper treatment, and in 80% of cases, the cause of the condition remains unknown. It is therefore crucial to support research on high blood pressure in order to improve both patient care and our understanding of the mechanisms underlying the condition.
